Affiliate Disclosure

Turtle Credit is free to read. To keep it that way, some of our articles contain affiliate links. This page explains what that means for you.

What an affiliate link is

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a company’s website. If you click one and then sign up, open an account, or buy something, that company may pay Turtle Credit a commission. You never pay more because you used our link.

Who we work with

We work with affiliate networks including Impact and Awin. Through them, we may earn commissions from companies such as Bizee, Nav, Novo, Upgrade, Upstart, Credit Karma, Nextiva, and Xendoo. This list changes over time.

How we keep recommendations independent

  • Partners don’t pay for placement in our articles and don’t review or approve what we write.
  • We mention a product because it fits the topic and the reader, not because of the commission it pays.
  • We cover options we don’t earn from, too, including free tools and government resources.
  • Every article that contains affiliate links says so near the top. Our editorial policy explains how articles are written and checked.

This disclosure is provided in line with the Federal Trade Commission’s guidance on endorsements and testimonials.
